* Our saunas are a natural wood product. There may be knots, color variations, and even small cracks in the wood. This is a natural part of the drying process that occurs in wood, especially where heat is involved, as in a sauna. These things are normal in a natural wooden sauna, and are in no way indicative of poor quality, and will in no way affect the performance of your sauna. It is suggested when you put screws into the wood of your sauna (as in when you install the accessories and back rest) that you pre-drill pilot holes to avoid splitting.

* In short, the ETL Listed Mark indicates that our infrared saunas have been tested by Intertek, found in compliance with accepted national standards, and meets the minimal requirements required for sale or distribution. The ETL Mark is assurance that the product is compliant with safety standards, having been tested and certified by a third-party organization.

* Each wooden panel for the sides, front and back, is 7mm or .27 inches. Other manufacturers get by with a much thinner wooden panel, some as thin as 3mm. We feel that this is much too thin and is not as structurally sound as our thicker panel.

* Our saunas are shipped via freight (on a semi truck). Normal shipping time in the US is 5-7 business days. We provide tracking information via email when your sauna ships, and the freight company should call you prior to delivery to set up an appointment window. You must be there at the time of delivery to inspect, sign for, and help unload the sauna from the freight truck.

* No, but the driver will assist you in unloading it. You have to take it from the truck into your home.

* No. Fortunately, using our convenient buckle system, installation is a snap!

* Since infrared saunas are fragile, we take special care to crate each sauna standing upright. You MUST inspect the sauna when it arrives - making sure that the pallet, crate, boxes, packing, and sauna are in good condition. If anything looks out of the ordinary, you MUST note it on the delivery receipt so that we can assist you in filing a claim against the carrier.

* No. 99% of our shipments get to their destinations just fine, without incident. We just want that other 1% to be prepared.

* You need a Halogen light - 35W, 110V, Model MR16. Please be aware that the MR16 is available in several voltages. You must have a 110V bulb, or it will burn out very quickly.

* The sauna electrical components, heaters, and controllers are covered by a limited lifetime warranty. The stereo has a 12 month warranty.
